My good friend JZ, who skates for Natural Koncept and lives in NYC just sent me this video of a day we spent out in Coney Island. I put photos up a while back. I love this video because it’s classic NK: dirty lens, iMovie editing, etc. He even ends it with some amazing skate clips of himself and Seamus Murphy. Thanks, Josh!

My friends Parker Siglin and Adam had a Commune art show at the Whistle Stop. They invited me to spin records. John Lupfer is an ace at pool, even on glowing hot tables.

Hotel St. George played.

Jose aka The Mexican Ghostface?the bar was 95 degrees?he showed up in a fur-lined parka.

Last Friday of the month: met up at Bews1’s house for a beer ride, I think they’re called Critical Mass or something. I borrowed a sweet chrome beach cruiser, while most of these dudes had uncomfortable queer-looking bikes with no brakes or gears!

Saturday was Tone Capone’s wedding.

Sunday I went skating with these gents. It’s a pleasure when the skaters pack up your gear for you after the sesh.

Then up to Hensley’s to spin records for Morrissey night. There were some dancin’ fools this week.

I thought it was because of my tunes. I later found out they were just on drugs.

Matt was in town between Flogging Molly tours. He had his nice Piaggio scooter in the bar that quickly turned into a glamour-shoot prop.

Next week, my friend is claiming party bus for her birthday. Should be a good time to come out.
